STEMbotix LeeBot – DIY Walking Robot Kit for Kids & Beginners

Step into the exciting world of robotics, coding, electronics and STEM learning with the STEMbotix LeeBot DIY Walking Robot Kit. Designed for kids, beginners, students and young innovators, LeeBot provides a practical hands-on experience where learners can build their own robot, program its movements and explore how mechanical and electronic systems work together.

Build Your Own Walking Robot

LeeBot transforms robotics education into an engaging DIY building experience. Assemble the robot using the included head, body, legs, feet, shoulders, hands, servo motors and electronic components. By building the robot step by step, learners gain an understanding of robotic structure, mechanical assembly and how different components work together to create movement.

Learn Coding with Block-Based Programming

LeeBot makes programming accessible to beginners through Blockzie block-based coding. Learners can use an intuitive drag-and-drop programming approach to create commands, upload programs and control their robot. This provides an easy introduction to programming logic without requiring advanced coding knowledge.

Program Fun Robot Movements

Bring LeeBot to life by creating different movements and actions. Program the robot to walk, wave, balance and turn while learning how servo motors can be coordinated to produce controlled robotic movement. Experimenting with different programs encourages creativity and helps learners understand the relationship between code and physical movement.

Explore Sensor-Based Robotics

The included ultrasonic sensor introduces learners to the fundamentals of sensor-based robotics. Understand how a robot can detect objects in its surroundings and use sensor information to create interactive behaviors. This provides a practical introduction to robotics concepts such as sensing, environmental awareness and basic autonomous behavior.

Arduino-Based Learning

LeeBot includes an Arduino Nano and microcontroller board, giving learners practical exposure to real electronic hardware. Students can understand how a controller communicates with motors and sensors, providing a foundation for further exploration of electronics, programming and robotics.

Develop Real STEM Skills

LeeBot is designed as a hands-on STEM learning platform rather than simply a ready-made toy. Through assembly, coding, testing and experimentation, learners can develop:

Coding and programming logic
Robotics fundamentals
Electronics knowledge
Mechanical assembly skills
Logical thinking
Problem-solving abilities
Engineering concepts
Creativity and innovation
Hand-eye coordination
Practical STEM skills

Beginner-Friendly Robotics Experience

LeeBot is suitable for learners who are starting their robotics journey. The combination of physical assembly and visual block-based programming allows beginners to learn by doing. Learners can build the robot, upload their code and observe the results in real time.

Ideal for Learning & Projects

LeeBot can be used for home learning, school STEM projects, robotics clubs, coding classes, exhibitions, competitions and hands-on educational activities. It provides an engaging platform for students to experiment with robotics while developing confidence in building and programming.

Complete DIY Robotics Kit

The kit includes the major components required to assemble and program LeeBot, including the robot body parts, 7 servo motors, Arduino Nano, microcontroller board, ultrasonic sensor, rechargeable battery, adapter, cables, M3 hardware and screwdriver.

Build. Code. Play.

STEMbotix LeeBot brings together robotics, coding, electronics and STEM education in one hands-on learning experience. Build your robot from components, create programs using block-based coding, upload your code and watch LeeBot perform programmed movements.

Whether used at home, in classrooms, STEM labs, robotics clubs or coding activities, LeeBot helps learners move from simply learning about robots to actually building, programming and experimenting with a real robotic system.
